WHO Study: Abortion Rates Decline in Many Developed Nations, Rise in Western Europe
May 16, 2016 Abortion rates fell significantly in many developed countries, with the exception of Western Europe which registered the highest rates of abortion between 1990-94 and 2010-14, according to a study conducted by World Health Organization (WHO) and Guttmacher Institute. In developing regions, abortion rates slightly declined during the same time.
