"Once when Zechariah’s division was on duty and he was serving as priest before God, he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to go into the temple of the Lord and burn incense" (Luke 1:8-9).
Lord, who strictly judges sins!
Praise You, Lord, for saving us when we acknowledge our sins and ask for Your forgiveness.
Thank You, Lord, for allowing us to realize that it is the beginning of blessing to be able to mourn for our sins. Lord, please change Your judgments into restoration and glory when a person or a whole community comes back to You and asks for forgiveness.
We believe that broken spirits will be recovered and shame will become glory when we rely on the blood of Christ. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
