Disney has continued the Star Wars trilogy with a spin-off from the earlier spectacular adventures. Fans got a glimpse of what was in the 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' when the debut was released last week on Good Morning America.

The plot here in not a continuation of 'Episode 7: The Force Awakens,' but is set in a time between 'Episode 6: A New Hope' and 'Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith.'

The plot narrates the story of Rebel Alliance and how they overpower the Galactic Empire, as the rebels are working in close cohesion to steal the plans for the Death Star before it can be used to enforce the Emperor's rule.

Director Gareth Edwards said that the new Rogue One is an all-and-out war flick. "It's the reality of war. Good guys are bad. Bad guys are good. It's complicated, layered; a very rich scenario in which to set a movie."

The story's main character is a woman Jyn Erso, played by Felicity Jones, who is the Rebel outsider taking part in the mission. In the seemingly woman-centric film, her boss is also a woman. Then the other warriors are Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen, and Alistair Petrie as general. Forest Whitaker as "Rogue," Jonathan Aris as Senator Jebel, Alan Tudyk as a Rebel-owned Imperial enforcer droid, and Mads Mikkelsen as an unnamed villain.

Mon Mothma is seen in the role of Genevieve O'Reilly from Episode 2, and Eunice Olumide also stars in the upcoming and much-awaited Star Wars film.

The released trailer also featured the Empire's AT-AT military vehicles, which hold quite an awe among the fans. A heavy dose of Stormtroopers, the main ground force of the Galactic Empire, and all the heavy-weight military armors just complete the sets on the new war zone epic.
