Around two months after the release of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms, Square Enix is now preparing to debut the game for the PC.

In preparation for the launch, the studio has released the system requirements for the game.

But, as noted by Inquistr, the released specs are only for the game's minimum settings. Based on the game's listing, its recommended settings are a bit standard especially considering most gaming PCs today have already been bulked up to handle more demanding titles.

According to the game's Steam page, gamers to have a PC running on at least the 64 bit Windows 7 operating system to run "Rise of the Tomb Raider" on minimum settings. Their rigs should also be equipped with an Intel Core i3-2100 or an AMD counterpart. In terms of memory and graphics, PCs must have at least 6GB of RAM and the Nvidia GTX 60 3GB or the AMD HD7770 2GB.

Lastly, the PC should also have the version 11 of DirectX and a minimum of 25GB of available space. Again, these are only for the game's minimum system requirements. Square Enix has not yet released the details for its recommended specs. But, those looking to play the game on high settings should probably have a heavily upgraded PC since Square Enix will include an option to run the game on unlimited 4K resolutions, unlike its console counterparts which are limited to only 30 frames per second.

Aside from the title's PC specs, the Steam listing also revealed certain pre-order details of the game. According to the site, those who will purchase the game ahead of its official launch date will also receive "Tomb Raider," the first instalment in the reboot series which originally came out in 2013.

The Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, on the other hand, comes with the Season Pass containing various additional features designed to expand the titles single-player mode. These include the outdoor survival challenge dubbed as "Endurance Mode," the "Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch" DLC which pits protagonist Lara Croft against a folklore legend, and the "Cold Darkness Awakened." The last content involves taking on hordes of infected enemies.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" is scheduled to arrive for the PC on January 28. PlayStation 4 owners, however, will have to wait until the end of this year to play the game on their systems.
