"God who leads me to the path of wisdom and life! I give you praise for you lead me to have a heart that recognizes your presence in me and guide my speech and actions. I thank you for the grace and blessing of allowing me to take after the character of the faithful Lord.
I realize that a quick-tempered man does foolish things but the prudent are crowned with knowledge and because one fears God and plans good, one will be able to partake in God’s nature (Prov 14:17-35). But I confess my shortcomings and lack of wisdom—Lord would you complete me with your compassion and wisdom.
Today, may I encourage and heal others with words of wisdom, thereby saving their spiritual lives, and lead a life that imparts knowledge upon them. I pray that I may always lead a life that fears God in my daily life and reflects your character. May I receive and obey the Spirit’s guidance and words of wisdom, enjoying the pleasure that comes from such obedience, pursuing after even more of God’s wisdom. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."
