The "Call of Duty" franchise has just released a new live-action trailer to promote the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

The short clip features various celebrities including Michale B. Jordan, actress and model Cara Delevingne and Marshawn Lynch, the running back for the Seattle Seahawks, according to Comicbook.com.

The trailer is part of Activision's "There's a soldier in all of us" ad campaign for its "Call of Duty" series of games. As its tagline suggests, the games from the franchise lets ordinary people unleash their inner war heroes.

In the newest clip, "Fantastic Four" star Jordan narrates the story of Kevin, a gamer who looks like an average guy but transforms into a dominant force in the world of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

Using a variety of weapons and superhuman moves, Kevin takes on an army of mechanized soldiers. The gamer even shows off some of the game's special abilities like running on walls, doing power slides and making use of jump thrusts, Cinema Blend reported.

At one point in the clip, NFL star Lynch shows up complete with his battle gear and ready to go into beast mode. But, just as when he is about to unleash the beast, Kevin jumps in the scene and takes out all of the enemy forces surrounding Lynch.

This trailer, however, is not the only CoD-related project for the football player. He will also take part in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" as one of the game's villains.

The clip ends with Kevin executing a power slide to take out what appears to be a walking tank with an explosive device. As he casually walks away from the explosion, he gets taken out by Delevingne. The camera then focuses on Jordan who's about to start narrating the gaming legend of the "Suicide Squad" actress.

Aside from its entertainment value, the trailer effectively conveys the point of "Call of Duty," which basically serves as an outlet for gamers to release their desire for action and destruction.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is scheduled to come out this week on November 6. It will be available for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.

As previously noted by the game's developers, only the game's PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version will have both single-player and multiplayer modes. The last-gen versions, on the other hand, will not feature a campaign due to technical limitations.
