Capcom has already begun the second beta phase for "Street Fighter 5" but as confirmed by the development studio, the game is currently suffering from match-making issues.

The company, however, admitted that it is not sure if it will be able to fix this problem within the current beta period.

As detailed in the company's website, the second beta for "Street Fighter 5" officially began on October 21 and only those who pre-ordered the game were able to participate in it. During the first day of the beta, Capcom unlocked the characters Vega, Necalli, Ken and R. Mika. However, during the second day, the game's servers were temporarily unavailable due to maintenance issues.

Another maintenance procedure is scheduled on October24 at 12:00 BST or 20:00 JST for ten hours. The second beta for the game will end on October 25.

As noted by VG247, the main objective of the second beta event is to test out the cross-platform capabilities of "Street Fighter 5" for the PC and PlayStation 4.

However, as noted by Capcom, the studio discovered several issues with the game a day before its second beta started. Still, the company carried out with the event but noted that one of the issues, particularly one that affects the game's match-making system, might not get fixed until the end of the beta event, Gamespot reported.

"Unfortunately, several new issues arose last night in regards to our match-making system and the rate at which matches were made, and we are not confident that the match-making rate will improve significantly throughout the course of this beta period," Capcom wrote.

"That said, user experiences will vary," the studio continued.

Capcom then went on to say that due to the issues, the gameplay experience of testers will be limited during the event. The studio also specified that the game's match-making process might take a while but gamers can keep themselves busy with the training mode while waiting for online matches. In this mode, gamers can either play against the computer or a friend.

The company assured that it will use the feedback from testers during the event improving the quality of the game before it launches.

Currently, "Street Fighter 5" does not yet have an official release date but the studio is targeting to launch it sometime during the first quarter of 2016. It will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows platforms once it comes out.
