Development company Rocksteady Studios has unveiled the story details of the upcoming "Catwoman's Revenge" DLC for "Batman: Arkham Knight."

Aside from the DLC, gamers can also look forward to other new content updates set to arrive in October.

According to ComicBook.com, the upcoming DLC for the game will let players take on the role of Catwoman. Its narrative will take place immediately after the story of the main game.

In the DLC, Catwoman is out on a mission to track down and seek revenge on the Riddler, who, in the main game, captured and used her to lure the Caped Crusader.

Aside from the "Catwoman's Revenge," Rocksteady Studios will also release the "Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile Pack" next month. This will contain skins for the Batmobile, Catwoman and Robin based on the Batman television program from the 1960s. This content update will also include two racetracks from the TV series, VG247 reported.

The studio will also launch the third "Crime Fighter Challenge Pack" in October and will come with predator and combat maps for Azrael, Batman, Nightwing and Robin.

But for those who don't want to wait for October to arrive, they can now download the "Tumbler Pack" for "Batman: Arkham Knight." This features the tank-looking Batmobile from the "Dark Knight" film series of director Christopher Nolan, according to Game Spot.

In addition, the second "Crime Fighter Challenge Pack" will come out on September 29 and will feature new challenges for the Batmobile, Robin, Catwoman, Nightwing and Batman. A new story pack dubbed as GCPD Lockdown will also be released on the same day. It will focus on Nightwing as he prevents the Penguin escaping from the Gotham City Police Department.

"Batman: Arkham Knight," the concluding chapter of the "Arkham" game series, first came out on June 23, 2015, for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Linux and OS X platforms.

Although the version of the game for the PC came out on the same date, it was immediately pulled out of various retailers due to major issues regarding its graphic and audio qualities.

Rocksteady Studios noted that is closely working with its partner company that handled the PC game's development to resolve the issues, IGN has learned.

"We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of 'Batman: Arkham Knight,'" the studio wrote in the game's community thread.

"This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously," it added. "We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible."
