Details about Google's upcoming new line of Nexus devices have been emerging in various reports lately.

Recently, a benchmark test released by GFXBench provided a rundown of the features of the next-generation Nexus device currently being developed by Huawei.

As mentioned in previous reports, Google has partnered with two major tech firms to create its next Nexus models. The South Korean company LG will handle the follow-up to the Nexus 5 it released for Google back in 2013.

Huawei, on the other hand, will develop a new version of the Nexus 6 which was originally launched by Motorola last year.

Although various sources have already hinted about the features of the two models, a recently conducted benchmark test has confirmed the specs of Huawei's upcoming device

According to GFXBench, the Nexus 6 2015 edition will sport a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels. This handset will be market as a phablet since LG's Nexus 5 will reportedly come with a smaller screen at 5.2 inches, GSM Arena reported.

Powering the Nexus 6 is the Snapdragon 810 processor from Qualcomm. As already explained by the chipmaker, a newer version of the Snapdragon 810 was already developed and shipped to smartphone manufacturers. This means the processor will no longer cause overheating problems for the handsets.

The device will also pack 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It will house a 12-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel front shooter. As expected, the Nexus 6 from Huawei will come with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow as its stock operating system.

As for LG's device, which has been dubbed as the Nexus 5X, it will feature a slightly smaller display than the Nexus 6. PC Advisor noted that it will run on the Snapdragon 620 processor and pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

However, according to a report by Android Pit, the Nexus 5X will be equipped with the Snapdragon 808 chipset and will have 3GB of RAM.

Hopefully, these details will be clarified by either Google or LG soon.

Like the Nexus 6 from Huawei, LG's Nexus 5X will also feature the Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform. Both devices are also expected to come with their own fingerprint readers.

Various sources are reporting that the two handsets will be unveiled by Google on September 29. They will then be available for pre-orders two weeks after their launch. However, since Google, LG or Huwaei has not yet issued official announcements regarding the upcoming devices, these details should only be considered as rumors.
