Janice Dickinson shocked viewers watching ‘Celebrity Big Brother 16’ when she collapsed on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Dickinson had a seizure after being stung by a bee. The show did not cut away from Dickinson until she fell off the chair that she was sitting on.

Dickinson had an allergic reaction to a bee sting on her left hand. She grew increasingly anxious as her hand began changing colors. Her hand was purple and black, a stark contrast to her right hand. Dickinson asked the show’s producer for a Benadryl shot or an EpiPen.

“It’s going up my hand and I don’t want it to reach my heart,” said 60-year-old Dickinson. “The difference in the hand color is purple and black, than the other one. Do you get it? They’re turning black!”

The producer of the British reality TV game show spoke to Dickinson in a calm manner throughout the scare, and informed her that the paramedics were on the way.

Dickinson curled up in the couch while breathing heavily. She fell of the couch during her seizure. After paramedics arrived, she was hospitalized and treated. She promptly returned to the show to continue competing after receiving treatment.

“The scare of it all thrusted her into a bit of a panic attack, however, she is now in good order. She is back playing the game in true Janice style,” said Dickinson’s representative to Page Six.
