Singer Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel welcomed their first baby on Saturday, April 11. The celebrity couple decided to name their firstborn son after Timberlake’s grandfather. Silas Randall is the name.

Timberlake is a nine-time Grammy Award-winning artist. He is a finalist for two Billboard Music Awards in 2015 under the categories of Best Male Artist and Top Touring Artist. He is also known for his lead acting roles in top box office films such as 'The Social Network,' 'In Time,' 'Runner Runner,' and 'Trouble with the Curve.' He won four Emmy Awards for his appearances in 'Saturday Night Live,' the sketch comedy show.

He first shot to fame in 90’s as a lead vocalist in the American boy band group NSYNC. His wife Jessica Biel is a 33-year-old actress who became famous for her role in ‘7th Heaven,’ a long-running network television show about a Protestant Christian reverend and his family.

Silas Randall is named after Timberlake’s grandpa, Bill Silas Bomar. Bomar passed away in 2012. Randall is Timberlake’s father’s first name. It is also Timberlake's own middle name. The news was exclusively given to People by Timberlake's representatives.
