An online forum user leaked details about the release date for "House of Wolves," the second expansion pack for the first-person shooter game "Destiny," IGN reported.

According to the information uncovered by megamanexe4, a user on Reddit, the "House of Wolves" downloadable content (DLC) will be released on May 19. The expansion will also include three new multiplayer maps as well as story missions.

In response to the leak, David "Deej" Dague, the community manager for "Destiny" developer Bungie, wrote on the game's forum that the released details regarding "House of Wolves" are subject to change according to the development team's progress.

"Aside from giving it a name, Bungie has yet to reveal the 'House of Wolves,'" Dague wrote. "That means that anything you know about it can change."

"We reserve the right to overwrite anything you're looking at right now," he continued. "These placeholder items enable us to save room on your drive for actual future updates."

Dague then noted speculations about various details of "House of Wolves" are outdated and may have already been scrapped by the team working on the game.

Despite implying that the leaks about the second "Destiny" expansion may be inaccurate, a more recent post made by Dague on Bungie's website indicated that the release date revealed by megamanexe4 for the "House of Wolves" is possibly correct.

According to the community manager's update, Bungie is targeting to launch the DLC during the second quarter of 2015, a time period which covers the months of April, May and June.

Dague didn't go into detail regarding what's in store for players in the upcoming expansion pack. However, he mentioned the work being done by the development team of "House of Wolves" is based on their observations regarding the players' game play experience.

He then reminded fans of the game that despite the number of "Destiny" leaks going around online, the Bungie site should still be considered as the official news outlet for anything related to the game and its DLCs.
